Discover what it's like to own a high mileage boxster

This is my 2006 987 Boxster with a 2.7 litre engine mounted to a five speed gearbox.

• 172,000 miles
• 240bhp
• 270nm

I know what your thinking, these numbers sound quite low, but with a kerb weight of 1,295kg  and high revving naturally aspirated flat six these are actually quite fast.

Having recently restored the headlamps, I might try and clean up the bonnet which has a lot of stone chips from motorway driving.

According to the MOT history the car covered in excess of 20,000 miles per year a number of times.

The rear of the Boxster is quite tidy, a few scratches from greenery but nothing serious.
